We have gone ahead and made a feature which will help you (Field Staff) to create job/tickets from the field on your mobile app.
After they do, they should be able to notice a plus sign '+' at the ticket screen as shown below.
A new screen comes up which has a search bar in it. This search bar is to be used to search for existing customers as shown below.
Note - Any customer that you search must have one or more service locations. If there are no service locations associated with the customer, a ticket cannot be created for that particular customer.
Select the customer from the search results. It would redirect you to a screen which will showcase all the service addresses listed for that customer. You can then select the service address for which you need to create a ticket as shown below.
The ticket creation screen opens up where the customer's name and the service address is automatically fetched. You need to enter other fields as shown below.
After entering all the details hit "Done" on the top right corner. The ticket gets created. Now, go to your calendar and select the date for which you had scheduled the ticket. You will find your created ticket on the date chosen.
Now, for a ticket is to be created for a new customer, tap on the "+" icon once again on the top right corner. The billing details screen opens up. Here, you can add the billing details for a new customer.
You'll then be redirected to the service address details screen. Enter the service address details here and then press "Done" at the top right corner. A new customer is created. The ticket creation screen opens up where the customer's name and the service address is automatically fetched. You need to enter the other fields. After entering all the details hit "Done" on the top right corner. The ticket gets created.
